Rising from the northern Tanzania plains, Kilimanjaro is the world's tallest free-standing mountain and one of the Seven Summits. Unlike many high peaks, Kilimanjaro requires no technical climbing skills — with determination, proper preparation, and our experienced guide team, most people can reach the summit.
The climb passes through five distinct climate zones — tropical rainforest, moorland, heath, alpine desert, and finally the glaciated arctic summit. The journey is as much a spiritual experience as a physical one.

The only route with hut accommodation. Known as the 'Coca-Cola Route' — the most popular path with a gradual ascent. Ideal for first-time climbers.

The 'Whiskey Route' — the most scenic path with dramatically varied terrain. Superior acclimatisation profile and significantly higher success rates.

The finest route on Kilimanjaro — least crowded, most scenic, and highest success rate. Begins from the remote west and traverses the full Shira Plateau.
Short dry season. Cool temperatures, excellent visibility. Fewer climbers on the mountain — ideal if you prefer quieter trails.
Main dry season and peak climbing period. Stable weather and highest success rates. Ideal to combine with Northern Circuit safaris.
No technical climbing experience is needed, but a good fitness level is essential. You should be able to hike 6–8 hours continuously with a light daypack. We recommend starting aerobic training 2–3 months before.
Best times are January–March and June–October when rainfall is lowest. July–September is the busiest period. April–May and November are rainy seasons and best avoided.
